Though I love writing and being an author, my day job is as an English/Language Arts teacher, a job for which I have much passion! Thanks to some inspirational professors and educators I’ve had, I always seek to encourage lifelong learning in my students.

It is with that same mindset I do my author and book talks. I enjoy talking with students of all ages about topics such as:

• the power of imagination
• creating a novel
• the writing process
• the world of self-publishing
• and more!

I am also open to doing more traditional book talks, where I read excerpts of the book and answer questions about the novels and the process. For these types of talks, it works best for the students or members of your group to have read at least one of the books prior to the book talk.
